Whether vacationing, visiting, living nearby or just passing through take some time to see what our friendly town has to offer. Located 10 miles north of the Portage Lift Bridge on M-26 along the shores of Torch Lake, we offer a variety of attractions, facilities and recreational activities for the whole family.

  • Campground with 20 full hook-up sites, rustic sites, showers, rest rooms and a dump station.
  • Ample docking and boat launch facilities with access to Lake Superior and excellent fishing.
  • 2.5-mile nature trail along the shore for bicycle and pedestrian use as well as snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.
  • Swimming area with small, covered pavilion for picnics and parties.
  • Large Tot-lot play area for the very young and young-at-heart.
  • Large, covered pavilion available for reservations.
  • Sports facilities including tennis courts, basketball court, baseball field and horseshoe pits.
  • Excellent canoeing along the nearby Traprock River accessible from Torch Lake.
  • Access to snowmobile trail system to the whole Keweenaw Peninsula.
