Whether vacationing, visiting, living nearby or just passing through take some time to see what our friendly town has to offer. Located 10 miles north of the Portage Lift Bridge on M-26 along the shores of Torch Lake, we offer a variety of attractions, facilities and recreational activities for the whole family.


Marina
Adjacent to the park is a large, modern docking facility with a boat launch and ample docking space with electricity available on some slips. There is a roomy parking area to leave your trailer and vehicle while you are on the water. Torch Lake has access to the Portage Canal and Lake Superior for those looking to fish the Big Lake.

Campground
20 full hook-up sites ($20 per night, $100 per week) includes electric, water, use of dump station and shower/restroom facility.
6 rustic sites ($8 per night) includes the use of the shower/restroom facility.
Reservations: Reservations can be made up to 6 months in advance by calling the village clerk's office (906-296-9911), but drive-ins are welcome if sites are available. Cancellations must be done through the village clerk's office.

Swimming Area
The beach near the campground is available to the public and is not exclusive to campers. Please be advised, there is no lifeguard so swimming is at your own risk. A small, covered pavilion is available for picnics and parties. Use of the pavilion is only restricted when privately reserved and will be posted during those times. Otherwise feel free to use it as you like. To reserve the pavilion contact the clerks office, 296-9911 or via , email.

The campground rest rooms are for campers use only, but there are public rest rooms in the Upper Park Pavilion (just a short walk across the foot bridge.) A lot near the beach provides plenty of parking space.

Please, no dogs on the beach! Dogs are permitted access to the water along the nature trail.


Park
The village park proper contains a wide array of facilities, picnic areas and playground equipment available to all. The sports enthusiast can enjoy, the baseball field, basketball and tennis courts and horseshoe pits while the youngsters have hours of fun on the swings, merry-go-round, slides, climbing wall and huge tot-lot play area. Covered picnic tables allow for shaded areas during hot summer days. The pavilion can also be used for a larger gathering, as well. To reserve the pavilion contact the clerks office, 296-9911 or via , email. It is also just a short walk to the beach for a refreshing swim.

Nature Trail
A 2.5 mile nature trail circles the village sands for bicycle and pedestrian use as well as snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. The trail is accessible by the general public - Motorized vehicles of any type of are prohibited on the trail. Excellent canoeing along the nearby Traprock River accessible from Torch Lake.
