Lake Linden is a town of 1007 people located on the shore of Torch Lake in Upper Michigan's Keweenaw Peninsula. It grew around the smelting and shipping of ore during the copper mining boom at the turn of the 20th century. A photo of the Lake Linden docks hangs in the Ellis Island Museum beneath the Statue of Liberty. We are in the Eastern Time Zone.
